Après le solo pour jeune public CACHE FANTÔME (2010), YoungSoon Cho Jaquet s’associe cette fois à une yodeleuse, Héloïse Heïdi Fracheboud, et une percussionniste, Alexandra Bellon. Ensemble, les trois femmes entendent proposer une version contemporaine du conte de Sugungga, célèbre Pansori – récit chanté traditionnel coréen convoquant chant, danse et rythmique - qui narre les aventures du Roi dragon de la mer du sud, de la tortue et du lapin sauvage...
Just as many of the previous creations by YoungSoon Cho Jaquet, this multidisciplinary project develops ties between western and eastern cultures. The stages thus becomes a place of sharing, trading and converging views where yodel meets ancestral korean tradition and where a swiss percissionnist embraces the korean drum roll, where contemporary danced gesture revisits traditional choreography. A place where artistic practice and culture come together and nourish each other by projecting tradition onto a decisively contemporary space.
