Romanesco proposes a near to the floor choreography composed of geometric and ephemeral drawings created by the manipulation of luminescent chips. Gradually the lighting increases. And dancers who up to then appeared as unsettling chimeras start to articulate movements in an always more blinding brightness. Starting by myth, darkness and fantasy but gradually leading to a saturation of the light Romanesco is a choreographic experiment that recounts western thinking in its fascination for a total rational and technological control which is impossible to achieve. But more importantly Romanesco is a poetic search on veiling and unveiling, confusion and clarity, chaos and organisation.
